Cleaning Up the BUTs
September 28, 2007
Years ago, after reading books on Gestalt Therapy by psychiatrist, Fritz Perls, I learned that one of the most powerful things I could do was make a very simple change in my language. Specifically, change the word “but” to “and.” For example, take the sentence, “I want to be understanding, BUT I don’t feel like it.” Now, simply change it to, “I want to be understanding, AND I don’t feel like it. Say both sentences and notice the difference in how you feel. Using the conjunction “but” makes both phrases or thoughts incompatible, “erasing” the first one. Changing to the word “and” is inclusive, allowing both to co-exist. Be conscious of using the word “but.” And now, Grant Connolly, creator of the ZPoint Process has an excellent article for you about Cleaning up the BUTs.

Although Gary Craig, the founder of EFT, says that no one doing EFT is ever asked to follow any specific spiritual teaching, Gary does say, “I do come at this procedure from a decidedly spiritual perspective.” So, what if you’re doing EFT and want to use it as a tool to go deeper in your spiritual life? Then you’ll want to know about Phillip and Jane Mountrose. Their focus is on using powerful state-of-the-art methods for holistic healing and connecting more deeply and soulfully with yourself.
Oxygen Eyes
August 23, 2007
Did you know that your eyes are oxygen processors and need a lot of oxygen to stay healthy and comfortable? As you age, particularly between 35 and 50, you need more energy to focus your eyes for reading. And, contrary to making people more productive, computers may do just the opposite. Computer vision stress causes people to see less, do less and be generally less efficient. Instead of reading with a light reflecting off a fixed page, with a computer the light is constantly flashing to a beat frequency of 60 Hz. Also, right now, there is a constant muscle spasm as your eyes search for the fonts on your computer screen. In your health regimen, don’t overlook your eyes. The key to improved vision is relearning relaxed vision habits. Do everything you can to keep your eyes flexible and strong. Let me tell you about one of the most fascinating EFT videos.
Tap on Your Keyboard
August 17, 2007
If you’re new to EFT and the idea of using your hands to tap on energy meridian points on your face and body seems strange, do this first. Tap on your keyboard. And … use your favorite search engine to do some research. At your commands, the Internet puts a plethora of valuable information in your hands if you actively seek it. For example, what do you know about “Su Jok” or “mudras?” They’re both ways to do self-healing with your hands. Here’s are some basics.
Titaneus Giganteus
August 15, 2007
Are you afraid of bugs? Scientists have named over one million species of insects, and they think there may be ten times that many. There are approximately 5,000 dragonfly species, 2,000 praying mantis, 20,000 grasshopper, 170,000 butterfly and moth, 120,000 fly, 360,000 beetle, and 110,000 bee, wasp and ant species described to date. Luckily, you live today because if you lived millions of years ago in the late Paleozoic Era you’d have had a big problem. You’d have needed a pair of great big boxing gloves. Imagine four-foot long millipedes, four inch cockroaches and dragonflies with over two foot wingspans. Today, we still have the Titaneus giganteus which is the largest beetle in the world. It lives in the Amazon rainforest and reaches up to six inches long. A recent study called, What Keeps Bugs From Being Bigger, says that the reason we don’t have these giant crawlers like we did millions of years ago has to do with oxygen.
