Are you wealthy? Sure you are. Right now. The dictionary says wealth is an abundance or profusion of anything, a plentiful amount. That doesn’t just mean money. You may have a wealth of time, hobbies, friendships or love. However, let’s just play around with the idea of money. You want to increase your wealth. The desire is there. So what’s the problem? The trick is dis-covering and erasing your limiting unconscious beliefs and emotions. Let me tell you about something you can get free today that will help you do just that.

Yes, I get emails every day with people selling me all kinds of stuff with headlines like — GET RICH NOW. THE LAZY WAY TO WEALTH. GUARANTEED! I’m sure some of these programs are good. Of course an easier way for me is to get my airline ticket to pick up the millions of dollars they’re holding for me in Nigeria. It seems that a lot of wealthy people over there are dying. Their relatives, being very generous, have found me and want to share the moola.

When it comes to really teaching people how to create abundance, I know of two people who walk their talk. First, there’s Carol Look. Carol has been teaching ways of attracting abundance using EFT for several years now. She’s great. Carol has a chapter on it in the book, Freedom at Your Fingertips. Another person is Margaret Lynch. All of us were on the nine day Tapping World Summit.

Margaret has a new program she’s coming out with called The Secret of Intentional Wealth. She’s going to sell this program. And, as part of her introductory promotion, she’s offering free videos on different topics. All you need to do is provide your name and email address, and you’ll be able to view the videos immediately.

The first one is, The Power of Outrageous Goals. You can get this free video by signing up here. Margaret even includes a transcript you can download. After you watch the videos I’m willing to bet that you’re going to experience a dramatic shift just a few minutes after you watch them.

The second video is, Your Tapping Solutions for Resistance and Self-Sabotage. You can get the video here.

The third video is, Blasting Through Your Money Blocks and Barriers. This video is available here.

The fourth video is, Tap into Your Brilliance. This video is here.

I highly recommend you watch these free videos because they’re about using EFT or tapping to create changes in your life from the inside out. Margaret is terrific! Go to it because the freebies are only available for a short time.

Maybe you don’t need to quit because you’re not doing it. If you are, quit right now. Quit acquiescing to the focus on negative news. Psychological intuitive and energy therapist, Carol Tuttle has had enough so she’s launching her official 2009 “I Quit” campaign. You can find out the details by listening to Carol’s radio show this Sunday, February 15th.

Here’s what Carol says:

I Quit.

I quit listening to the media and how bad things are. I quit believing there is not enough money. I quit believing in a power outside of me and really woke up that I am creating my life.

That is when I started teaching people this:

If you focus on “no money, no money, no money,” Guess what you get? The answer seems pretty simple when asked like that! No Money!

I have been teaching people for years that you need to focus on what you want, not what you fear. There are a lot of people running a lot of limiting beliefs right now. You may be one of them. That is why I am launching my official 2009 “I Quit” campaign. I am not quitting what I do, are you kidding I am just getting started. People need this information more than ever.

Join me this Sunday on my weekly “Living Your Truth” radio show to hear more about what I am quitting and what I have quit through the years that has allowed more JOY to BE in my life.

I am going to help you quit this year. Quit buying into all the lack and limitation that is stirred up right now. I am also launching my “I Quit” product campaign. You will learn more about that on Sunday.

What are you ready to quit? What loser default programming are you ready to quit? What pattern of lack are you ready to quit. Let’s get started Sunday.

The “Living Your Truth” Radio Show
Sunday, February 15th
4-5 pm MT

In other time zones:

3-4 pm PST
5-6 pm CST
6-7 pm EST

To listen just go to Carol’s Website, click on the “Radio/Video” tab.

Who are EFT practitioners? What are their occupations? As a service to EFTzone readers, during the summer of 2008, we did a brief telephone survey of EFT practitioners in the USA. Out of a compiled list of approximately 852 practitioners, we performed a random telephone survey, completing 102 surveys. Each survey took about five minutes. This is a summary of the results of the survey.

EFT is keeping many practitioners busy. Almost two-thirds of the EFT practitioners surveyed do it full time. Around a third are part time. Some practitioners are in the process of building their practices. Most offer EFT and other methods of energy psychology and healing.

The predominant occupation for EFT practitioners is coaching, whether it’s working with individuals for personal coaching or in business. The other major areas are mental health professionals such as psychologists, psychiatrists and therapists, plus hypnotherapists.

Almost three-quarters of EFT practitioners are general practitioners. They work with their clients to resolve a range of issues. With those who specialize, the top areas of specialty are:

Stress and anxiety

Fears and phobias

Trauma from accidents

Addictions, weight issues and phobias

Pain management

Other specialties highlighted include spiritual matters, self-esteem issues, sexual abuse, PTSD, grief, and women’s issues.

You’ll be pleased to know that if you’re looking for an EFT practitioner, those who are practicing have significant experience. Although EFT is fairly new to the general public, EFT practitioners have been doing EFT with their clients for quite some time. Eighty percent of those surveyed have been offering EFT for at least three years. Only a few practitioners have been doing EFT for less than a year.

What was surprising is even though most EFT practitioners can offer clients EFT via the telephone, that’s not how most EFT practitioners do their work. It’s mostly in person. Almost 70 percent of those surveyed do less than 25 percent of EFT services by phone. Several people mentioned that they would like to increase their telephone clientele.

We asked EFT practitioners the single most important way they learned EFT. The majority mentioned it was by viewing Gary Craig’s video libraries. We can attribute some of this to the fact that until the last few years, other than the EFT manual, that was the only comprehensive learning tool available. Today, the videos continue to be the most in-depth, cost effective way for lay people and practitioners to learn EFT.

Most EFT practitioners focus on offering their services and do not offer their own products. Many practitioners provide handouts or free information on their Websites. Of those who do offer products, it’s usually products developed by other EFT practitioners sold through affiliate programs. Some practitioners would like to develop products. Others don’t feel they have the time nor inclination to deal with business issues such as stocking and ordering. Some practitioners said that their profession prohibited them from offering products.

Recently, Gary Craig, the founder of EFT, started a certification program to emphasize EFT video instruction as the standard, and to bring more consistency back to the instruction and practice of EFT. Another purpose was to help prospective clients find a qualified practitioner that focused on EFT. We were surprised to find that only about one-third of EFT practitioners plan to be certified under the new program. The majority of practitioners aren’t sure or were not aware of the program.

Several practitioners mentioned that they didn’t only specialize in EFT. They offered other energy healing modalities. A number of practitioners said that they had developed a healthy client base and didn’t feel the need to be “re-certified.”

Maryam Webster is fun to talk with because she’s so knowledgeable and passionate about what she does and who she is. Her long awaited book, Everyday Bliss, was published in May. I immediately bought copies for my wife, Linda, and my two daughters. If you don’t yet have the book, I highly recommend getting it. Here’s what Linda has to say about Everyday Bliss.

You’re gonna wear this book out. Highlight it. Mark it up. It’s full of “how-to” gems. I absolutely love Maryam Webster’s book, Everyday Bliss for Busy Women. Let’s start with its user-friendly format. At 5×7, it’s a handy size that feels good in your hands. The book is nicely laid out and inviting to read.

I like that, Everyday Bliss is written by a woman especially for women. Sorry guys, but society expects women to play and juggle more roles in life than men. Women also have different needs than men.

Everyday Bliss starts out explaining why it’s important to create bliss in our lives and balance our energy. We can choose to take the time to focus our energy instead of reacting and dispersing it in different directions. Maryam talks about the toxic effects of negative energy as well as negative beliefs and how harmful and limiting they can be.

What I like best about the book is that Maryam shares her knowledge, providing specifics for cleansing and relieving tension, plus ways to create everyday bliss using cutting-edge methods like EFT, TAT, ZPoint Process and others.

Ultimately, this book is about getting in touch with your spirituality. Everyday Bliss is a soothing wave of caring and encouragement. I wish I had a beautiful tool like this when I was in my twenties or thirties. Maryam, thank you for sharing your life experiences and methods, reaching out to the women of the world to show us that there is a way of being, doing, and having a life of everyday bliss.

Oh, and you’ll also want to check out Maryam Webster’s Everyday Bliss Website. On the site you can read her blog, join and participate in forums and get a free Blisskit.

If you’re not using EFT or another method for releasing your stress, start doing it for your own good. Excess stress has a cumulative effect on your mental and physical health. Over time, it’s degenerative. Of course, one alternative to using EFT is the “Costanza Strategy.” Just fake it like you’re busy or stressed. That what George Costanza of Seinfeld did. Here’s his secret for looking stressed or busy at work.

* * * * * * * * * *

Elaine: Yeah. What do you do all day?

George: Not that much.

Elaine: uh-uh.

Jerry: I thought that new promotion was supposed to be a lot more work.

George: Yeah, when the season starts. Right now, I sit around pretending that I’m busy.

Jerry: How do you pull that off?

George: I always look annoyed. Yeah, when you look annoyed all the time, people think that you’re busy. Think about it… (acts annoyed for 3 seconds).

Elaine: Yeah, you do! He looks very busy!

Jerry: Yeah, he looks busy! Yeah!

George: I know what I’m doin’. In fact Mr. Wilhelm gave me one of those little stress dolls.

All right. (gets up) Back to work. (acts annoyed and leaves)

* * * * * * * * * *

Of course, another great stress reliever strategy is humor.

It’s only money, honey. Money is a feeling. As a follow-up to Financial Storm, because there’s so much focus on the economy being tight, people are getting uptight. Several people have asked me how to use EFT for money issues. Of course, one of the best places to go is Carol Look’s Attracting Abundance Website. About 12 years ago, before I knew anything about EFT, I was a partner in a business experiencing a recession in Southern California. One of the most helpful things for me was buying a little box of cards, Creating Money: Affirmations for Abundance by Orin and DaBen. I don’t even think the box of cards are available anymore, but the companion book, Creating Money, just came out in a new edition. I recommend it.

You can read an excerpt from the book here. Perhaps you’ll also want to read the article, Change Beliefs of Scarcity into Abundance.

Another book I found to be of value was Stuart Wilde’s, The Trick to Money is Having Some. One of his gems was, “Abundance will never be a factor of how much money one has. Rather it is always a factor of how on feels about what money one does have.”

How do you feel about the money that you do have? When you think of money and economic uncertainty, how do you feel? Are we feeling a reflection of the economy or is the economy the sum of our individual feelings about money right now? While most economic conditions are out of our control, we can do something about how we feel about money. When you get uncomfortable feelings or thoughts about money, stay with it and use EFT. Do an EFT setup statement based on your specific feelings.

You also might play with these statements. Just do a round of tapping while saying each one aloud.

Even though I’m afraid I won’t have enough, I am enough.

I let go of my fear of the future, of uncertainty and doubt. I choose to release fearful feelings.

I trust by staying in the moment, I’ll know what to do and which steps to take.

Lastly, here are three of the Creating Money cards you can tap. Do a round of tapping on the EFT points with each one:

All my money is energy awaiting my command to create good in my life.

I create money and abundance through joy, aliveness and self-love.

My energy is open and flowing in every area of my life.

I also suggest using another method similar to BSFF (Be Set Free Fast) and ZPoint Process — the Power Word Technique — from Joan Sotkin. The free excerpt of the Power Word Technique is from Joan’s book, Build Your Money Muscles.

The most important thing whether you’re using EFT of other methods is to keep your energy and feelings about money open and flowing instead of contracted and tight.

There continues to be mounting economic uncertainty. We’re experiencing the sub prime mortgage crisis and the housing market downturn. There’s been talk about whether we’re in a recession or not. The U.S. stock market is volatile swinging up and down almost daily. The Federal Reserve is working to keep things in check. Things are happening that we’ve never experienced. If you believe in the Law of Attraction, the more we focus on fears of a recession and financial storm, the more we’ll attract it. We’ll magnetize a fear and lack vibration. What can you do? Here are some things that may help.

Although, you can’t control outside conditions, you can control how you respond to and feel about them. Instead of reacting with fear, trepidation or panic, choose to keep a pulse on things, take wise actions and avoid emotional distress. Be conscious of your inside conditions and use tools like EFT to release any negative emotions.

I recommend starting with Tap Talk Radio with Carol Look and Rick Wilkes on How Do I Stop Worrying? And, use EFT to address whatever you’re feeling. Create your own setup phrases based on specifically what you’re feeling. For example:

Even though I’m worried about financial events, I choose to remain calm in my actions.

Even though I’m afraid of what might happen, I choose to feel comfortable in trusting myself to know what to do.

Even though I’m afraid of what might happen to my finances, I choose to feel and know I’ll be all right.

Even though I’m afraid of what might happen to my money, I choose to focus on all of the other areas of abundance in my life.

Everything is interconnected and woven together. Any change in the financial markets in America ripples into international markets. A downturn in the housing industry not only affects builders, roofers, electricians and plumbers, but car dealers, retailers and restaurants. One of the things about financial turmoil is that it makes us conscious of how interdependent we are worldwide.

The more calm and centered you stay, the more you help everyone else. And you have EFT to assist you in doing so.

Although intuitively people know that stress can affect their health and well-being, a new study in Great Britain shows that chronic stress has a direct biological impact on our bodies. The study, published in the European Heart Journal, was with 10,000 British civil servants over a 12-year period. One of its findings was that chronically stressed workers — people determined to be under severe pressure — had a 68 percent higher risk of developing heart disease. That’s shocking. What’s particularly concerning it that the risks were particularly strong among younger people — those under 50.

In a different study, the 2007/2008 Staying at Work report, consulting firm Watson Wyatt said that almost half of U.S. employers (48 percent) recognize that stress is impacting their business. However, only five percent of these companies are taking action to address their concerns. Stress directly affects employee retention because stress overload is cited by employees as the top reason they’d leave a company. Employers on the other hand are clueless. They don’t even have stress on their radar as one of the top five reasons employees bail.

Company executives are good at weighing hard costs. They’re not so good at evaluating how soft costs affect the bottom line, which is the main reason the stress issue hasn’t come to the forefront. Based on research studies and information from the book, Stress Costs, Stress Cures by author Ravi Tangri, there is now a formula for measuring the hard costs of stress.

19 percent of absenteeism

40 percent of turnover

55 percent of employee assistance programs

30 percent of short- and long-term disability

10 percent of drug plan costs

60 percent of total workplace accidents

Total costs of workers comp and lawsuits are because of stress

Stress is a major issue. Yet it’s amazing that so many Chief Executive Officers and Chief Financial Officers focused on increasing profitability and having committed employees either sidestep the whole issue of workplace stress or they have no idea what it’s costing their companies. Again, stress isn’t an intangible cost — it’s measurable in hard dollars.

If you’re stressed at work, it’s up to you to do something about it because most likely you’re employer won’t. By exercising, following a healthy lifestyle, and doing EFT, you can reduce the negative impact of stress. EFT is a superb tool for releasing stress. You’ll get effective results by spending five minutes every morning and evening doing a few rounds of EFT to release your stress.

If you’re a workaholic, you can skip this article. It would be an absolute waste of your time and that would be unacceptable, wouldn’t it? However, if you’re overworked, overstressed, feel like you’re trapped and seeking a way to bring more joyful energy into your life, read on. First, I’ll tell you about two people who are real nut cases about work. After that, I’ll give you some ideas on how to use EFT to start moving towards doing more of the things that you love. Here we go.

The dictionary defines work as physical or mental effort or activity directed toward the production or accomplishment of something. When you think of work, what kinds of thoughts and feelings pop up? Abraham Lincoln, America’s sixteenth president wasn’t crazy about work. He said, “My father taught me to work; he did not teach me to love it. I never did like to work, and I don’t deny it. I’d rather read, tell stories, crack jokes, talk, laugh — anything but work.”

And then there are some cultural cliches and beliefs we have about work:

Work your fingers to the bone

Works his butt off

Worked night and day

Work like a dog

Worked to death

All work and no play

A mother’s work is never done

Saddled with work

A worker bee

Idle hands are the Devil’s workshop

No wonder people don’t like to work. To many people, work is a “necessary evil.” It’s something they “have to do” instead of “want to do.” It’s just a job instead of a passion. And that’s where these two “laziness” experts chime right in. They’re both opposed to work as we know it. Although they talk about laziness, they’re really talking about doing things that you’re passionate about, that energize and recharge your internal batteries. Let’s take Fred Gratzon. He wrote the book, The Lazy Way to Success: How to Do Nothing and Accomplish Everything. Here’s what Fred says about work:

“If someone is working hard, it means only one thing — that that person didn’t use his intelligence, or his creativity, or his light-heartedness to find an easier, more enjoyable, more effective way of doing the same thing. Hard work should be avoided at all costs. Instead have fun, play games and laugh. Don’t collaborate, co-playorate. And co-create. And co-discover. And, as a result, co-get-super-rich. Workaholics are lame. Playaholics got game.”

You may want to pay attention to Fred. He’s an successful entrepreneur. Using his lazy way, he started his first company — The Great Midwestern Ice Cream Company — with no money nor experience about the ice cream business. It was judged by People magazine to be the best ice cream in America. Fred also started a long distance carrier company called Telegroup. He had no idea what he was doing. From a home-based business, it grew to 1,100 employees with $400 million in annual revenue. Fred’s companies have appeared on Inc magazine’s list of the 500 fastest growing companies in America four times.

Then there’s Ernie Zelinski. In his last “real job” over 25 years ago, Ernie was fired from his engineering job for taking too much vacation time. Now he works only four or five hours a day, and he earns a better living than 90 percent of the corporate world. Check out his book, The Lazy Person’s Guide to Success: How to Get What You Want Without Killing Yourself for It, or The Joy of Not Working: A Book for the Retired, Unemployed and Overworked.

He must have some gems of wisdom. The book has been published in 17 languages in 20 different countries and has sold over 200,000 copies worldwide. You can download samples of his books here, including his new book, Real Success Without a Real Job: There Is No Life Like It!

And what about you? If you’re not doing more of the things in your work and life that you love and are passionate about, the main reason is because of your limiting, fearful thoughts and beliefs. You’ve bought into, “it’s not possible.” Or you say that someday when conditions or circumstances are right, you will. You keep it way out in the elusive future.

If you want to accelerate doing the work and things you love, you can use EFT to erase and replace your limiting feelings and beliefs. Start with exploring what your beliefs are about work and money, idle time, being lazy, and making a living. Then create some setup statements such as:

Even though I’m afraid to give up my work …
Even though I’m afraid that I won’t know what to do …
Even though I have all of these responsibilities …
Even though I’m making too much money to quit my job …
Even though I don’t believe that I can earn an income doing the things that I love …
… I deeply and completely accept myself.

Even though I don’t believe that I can create revenue from doing what I love …
Even though I don’t know how to create revenue from doing the work I love …
… I choose to be open to the possibility of attracting it to me in surprisingly fun ways.

People give every excuse in the world for not doing what they love and pursuing their dreams. One of the simplest, no risk ways to creating the future that you desire is by vividly imagining it already happening. Everything that you manifest starts in your mind. Begin imagining doing the things you love as if they are actually happening now. Routinely, take small simple steps forward. Here are some other articles that you’ll find of value on manifesting. Read Dr. Patricia Carrington’s article, Can EFT be Used to Manifest What You Want in Your Life? Also, read Steve Wells’, Tap and Be Rich and Manifesting the Life of Your Dreams.

You can do work that enriches your life and that you’re passionate about. To be a possibility for you, first you have to believe it. You’ll need to erase any limiting beliefs and EFT is a powerful tool for this. You can continue like most people to just have a job. Or, you can use EFT to help create what you want. It’s your choice.
