Try It On Everything
March 30, 2008
Seven years ago when I first learned EFT, the best way was to get Gary Craig’s videos. I bought all of the video sets and watched hours and hours of his seminars. At the time, there were few books about EFT and really no videos I thought would be good to introduce EFT to the lay public. That changed last summer when Gary produced a well-received, seven minute EFT introductory video. If his video was an appetizer, then the new film, Try It On Everything, is the entrée and main course to introducing people to EFT.
German New Medicine
March 6, 2008
Almost three years ago on March 12-14, 2005, I attended Gary Craig’s “Mastering EFT” 3-day workshop in Southern California. The workshop dealt with using EFT with people with serious issues or illnesses. This included Multiple System Atrophy, Neuropathy, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Muscular Dystrophy, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, spinal problems and other illnesses. The purpose was to aim EFT at the emotional causes of serious diseases. At the workshop, Lars Mygind, from Denmark mentioned Dr. Ryke Geerd Hamer and his research on emotions and cancer. The story of Dr. Hamer and German New Medicine is quite fascinating because it correlates to EFT and how unresolved emotional issues contribute to physical and health problems.
Wooed Gratitude
December 20, 2007
Political leader Joseph Stalin once said, “Gratitude is a sickness suffered by dogs.” Poet and playwright William Shakespeare would have countered with, “Ingratitude is monstrous.” I prefer something a little more upbeat. Author Alex Haley said, “Find the good and praise it.” Yes, time for you to woo some gratitude. Let me suggest that you start out by getting kinesthetic and do the Gratitude Dance from the Junior Attractors. Here’s a video with the dance and arm steps. It’s simple and suitable for your unique dancing style.
EFT & Positive Deviants
November 14, 2007
Many lay people and professionals haven’t explored EFT and other energy healing modalities because they’re waiting for scientific evidence and research. They want more “social proof.” Yet, go to the EFT Website and you can read hundreds of articles of how professionals and everyday people have used EFT to resolve all kinds of physical and emotional issues. Just how long is long enough to wait? Most likely, you’d be better off being a positive deviant today.
Phantom Limb Pain
October 30, 2007
In the October 25 episode of Grey’s Anatomy, a businessman in a suit is in the emergency room claiming his shaking left foot doesn’t belong to him. It’s driving him crazy, and he wants a surgeon to amputate his foot. Instead, he gets a psychological evaluation and some anxiety medication. That doesn’t satisfy him so he gets a chainsaw and tries to amputate his foot. Later, a doctor successfully completes the surgery. What if his foot sensations didn’t go away? About 50 percent to 80 percent of amputees experience “phantom limb” feelings in their amputated limb. Quite often the sensations are very painful. Can EFT help alleviate phantom limb pain?
