For Skeptics Only
November 30, 2007
It’s normal for people to be skeptical about EFT because it’s so out of the ordinary and different from what we know. Funny thing, I wasn’t skeptical about EFT when I learned about it five years ago. Like many people, I came across EFT quite by accident. Being curious I thought, “How weird and interesting, can’t hurt, I’ll try it.” Skepticism is handy. Just don’t make it a way of life. I like what Steve Pavlina said in his post, The Death of Skepticism, “If our beliefs are just a self-fulfilling prophecy, then the prophecy of skepticism is a lame one to fulfill. All you manifest is evidence that causes you to continue doubting. It would be hard to manifest a more boring reality than that.”

According to Hristo, he’s had some amazing experiences with energy healers during the last few years, using EFT, BSFF, NLP and other therapies. He wanted to a place to meet and discuss energy healing with other people so he started www.energyhealingforums.com. Recently, I read an excellent, innovative post he did on clearing subconscious blocks or resistances.
EFT & Positive Deviants
November 14, 2007
Many lay people and professionals haven’t explored EFT and other energy healing modalities because they’re waiting for scientific evidence and research. They want more “social proof.” Yet, go to the EFT Website and you can read hundreds of articles of how professionals and everyday people have used EFT to resolve all kinds of physical and emotional issues. Just how long is long enough to wait? Most likely, you’d be better off being a positive deviant today.
New EFT Masters Site
November 9, 2007
When I interviewed Lindsay Kenny for the EFTzone Spotlight back in late July, she mentioned that the 29 EFT Founding Masters would soon be independent and have their own Website. As of October 31, they have. For administrative reasons, EFT founder Gary Craig is no longer involved in the EFT Masters Program so he can devote his time to developing other projects to promote EFT as a healing tool and to make its effectiveness known and available worldwide. Look for some exciting things coming from these creative and skilled EFT practitioners. If you haven’t checked out their new Website, do it right now. Let me share some of the rich information you’ll find there.
A Sissy Thing
November 7, 2007
In the article, Confessions of a CEO, in the current issue of Fortune Magazine, multi-millionaire businessman Dominic Orr says that he always considered therapy a “sissy thing.” In business, Dominic was “ruthlessly aggressive.” On the home front, when his marriage and relationship with his son were crumbling, he reluctantly agreed to meet with a therapist. To a lot of men and women in business, therapy implies weakness. So unless there’s a life crisis, there’s no therapist in sight. The problem with the word “therapy” is that it connotes something is wrong. The definition of therapy is “the treatment of disease or disorders, as by some remedial, rehabilitating, or curative process.” Often, business people don’t need therapy as much as a tool for dealing with everyday business problems that pile up. They need more coaching and tools for personal development rather than therapy.
